About Operation Breakthrough

Operation Breakthrough was a natural choice to receive all proceeds from this benefit.  Operation Breakthrough is a local organization located east of downtown Kansas City that runs solely on donations.  For more than a decade, Operation Breakthrough has provided Christmas gifts and holiday meals to hundreds of underprivileged Kansas City families.

In 2006, Operation Breakthrough provided a Christmas to 750 families that could not have otherwise afforded food and gifts - over 2,000 children!

In addition to its holiday adopt-a-family program, Operation Breakthrough also  provides a Christmas toy-shop for families in the community that are unable to afford toys for their children.  One week before Christmas, eligible families are allowed to come to Operation Breakthrough and pick out three toys for their children so that their children can receive a toy on Christmas.

Operation Breakthrough is dedicated to bettering our community.  It is a true opportunity for all of us to be able to help such a worthy cause!
